When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon
I read this book early this summer and loved it.
It’s the story of Dimple who was set up by her parents with Rishi as a potential arranged marriage. Dimple didn’t know the plan when she attended coding camp. She is horrified. But in a twisted turn of events she becomes friends with Rishi. Throughout the summer, they work together and eventually fall in love.
This a cute contemporary romance. It’s sweet!
I give this book 5 stars.
A Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee
I just read this book a few days ago and loved it.
This is the story of Monty, Percy and Felicity who are in the 1700s doing a grand tour through continental Europe. Their adventures are laugh out loud.
Monty is a bit of reckless guy who stole something that didn’t belong to him. He is then follow by highway men (robbers). They stumble a mystery that they need to solve. In this journey they encountered pirates.
I give this book 4.5 stars. I can’t wait for the sequel with Felicity’s story.
I see London, I see France by Sarah Mlynowski
This is the story of Sydney as she takes a trip of a lifetime with her best friend, her best friend’s cheating ex and his friend. They travel through Europe.
I love a good travel book. Each stop was described as if you were taking the trip with them. I love Sydney’s and Jackson love story. It was sweet. I am rooting for them to make it work long distance.
I give this book 4.5 stars
Wish you were here by Renee Carlino
This is the story of Charlotte. She is lost. She is unsure what to do next. One night she meets Adam and they had the perfect night. Adam completely dismisses her and breaks her heart. She starts dating Seth. After months, she finds Adam again and learn devastating news. I don’t want to spoil the rest of the book.
This was a heartbreaking contemporary romance. I cried and loved it.
I give this book 5 stars.
Fallen Heir by Erin Watt
This is book 4 of the Royal series and it’s completely addicting.
This is Easton’s story. Easton in the middle child of the Royal brothers. He loves booze, fights and girls. In a chance encounter he meets Hartley. He becomes infatuated. However, Hartley wants nothing to do with him. Easton asks her to be her best friend. They hang out and spark fly but drama ensues.
Unlike Reed and Ella story where they can’t keep their hand off each other, this is a slow burn romance.
There is a cliffhanger in the end.
I give this book 4.5 stars.
