It’s journal prompt time!
Today’s question was inspired by Louise Hay’s end of the year newsletter and it’s a simple yet powerful question:
“What am I holding on to that holds me back?”
Think about it.
Perhaps you are holding on to a dream, a relationship that will change, belief and idea that is no longer serving you. Perhaps you are holding on to weight as a way to punish yourself for crimes you never committed? Perhaps you are holding on to the belief that you are not ready to look for another job?
This is tough one. I get it!
Trust me I have been holding on to the idea of perfection and waiting until I am ready as a way to cope with me fear of failure. Yet let’s be honest this belief is no longer serving me. If I am brutally honest, it has kept me small for a long, long time. Perhaps acknowledging how it is holding me back is providing me the courage to step forward and let it go.
