After a couple of week hiatus from regular work out classes, I have to say last night’s kickboxing class was challenging yet it was just what I needed a pure shot of endorphins!

It is no accident that I woke up this morning in a cheery happy mood despite being a rainy hump day. Getting back into my regular workout class routine has been a welcomed change from my two weeks from hell (my first day off from work will be on Saturday). I am glad to be back to my regular busy schedule which includes: classes at Equinox on most days and working late nights on the other days that I am scheduled (I have another big event in a couple of weeks).
After last night boost of endorphins and other happy hormones it all clicked why I work out on a regular basis. It is no longer for weight loss purpose, it is for this boost of energy that I get. Crazy I need to move my body to create energy as opposed on loading with food (calories) to intake energy.
